Motorama Recap
This past weekend the drivers and committee members trekked down to the Toronto International Centre to display our amazing division. Over the course of the weekend thousands of people passed by our booth as well as stopped in and talked to Jae and AJ all weekend. Motorama is the biggest indoor car show for car enthusiast and motorsports fans. With a jam packed weekend with current racers and former racers stopping by to say hi and show their support of the club. It was a great turn out as the last time the club was on hand was the shortened 2020 show.
Jae Pepin who drives the #43 was on hand all weekend, here are some of his thoughts on the show. "Short track racing has a great following in Ontario, you could certainly see and feel it with the interest and interaction from the fans at our booth". AJ Pescetti added " There was lots of interest towards our club from the fans, It was great seeing so many drivers stop by and say hi throughout the weekend".
" Jae (Pepin) did a great job organizing with the event staff and AJ (Pescetti) for managing all our promotional items for the event" said Club President T.J Marshall. "Motorama is a great event, it gives us a chance to interact with past and current members of the club. It's a good feeling seeing lots of attention paid towards the car by the spectators at the show" added Marshall".
When asked about the upcoming season approaching quickly Jae had this to say." We have additional race cars, new drivers a fully sponsored season with Young Drivers of Canada returning as title sponsor, the Canadian Vintage Modified season is sure to be an exciting one". The new season for the Young Drivers Canadian Vintage Modifieds starts May 6th at Flamboro Speedway.
