Rain Delay Doesn't Dampen Mood On Triple Crown Night!
Saturday night the Young Drivers Canadian Vintage Modifieds returned to Flamboro Speedway for their ninth event of the season presented by Triple Crown. If Saturday was any indication it has told us that Mother Nature has not been a race fan in 2023. With rainouts or rain delays happening it's been a tough go to get races in. That as the case this past Saturday night as the first features for the CVMs got completed before a rain fall came and put a pause on the event. Luckily the rain moved through and the track got dried and racing was able to resume.
Feature #1 saw the #8 of Ricky Willigar top the pylon winning his fourth feature win of the 2023 season. Quintin Murdoch would come home second and having a career best finish was the #43 of Jae Pepin.
Feature #1 Finishing Order
1) #8 Ricky Willigar
2) #7 Quintin Murdoch

4) #15 T.J Marshall
5) #14 Scott Tonelli
6) #5 Ian McIntyre
7) #42 Steve Murdoch
8) #57 Joey Woolsey

Feature #2 we would see a familiar face driving his way for his seventh trip to Epic Racewear Victory Lane. T.J Marshall sporting his new build didn't take him long to find victory lane. Ricky Willigar would finish second and Quintin Murdoch would follow suit finishing third.
